We want to believe that if you can just share things, in the right way, people will see the truth.
But, even knowing, I think it is still shocking to see it in action. The Bible tells us that in these days that people will see good as evil and evil as good. We are taught to cherish what is innocent and precious and if someone is living a life that is in contradiction to our faith we do not associate with them. They are taught to kill homosexuals.Ĭhristianity is called a bigoted, hateful religion but its followers are taught virtues: to love, to be patient, to minister to other's needs, to be meek, to show mercy, to share their faith, turn the other cheek. They are taught that sex with children is acceptable. There were certainly wars in the Bible but at no point did the prophets or leaders or Christ condone or encourage killing. The Christian Bible does not condone killing nonbelievers. Anytime you have a group of people with similar beliefs in one place. Also, there is nothing in any of those regulations that would cause bodily harm to another person.

People, of their own free will, either adhere to them or do not.
Those are regulations that govern what goes on within the church. However, those regulations do not require that people outside the faith adhere to them. That is what is known as "organized religion".
The Jews and the Amish and heck even the SBC all have rules and regulations that have to do with their faith.
